Other creatures that call the forest floor home include anteaters, scorpions, and jaguars. When the rainforest is destroyed plants and animals go extinct, there are less tree to clean our air, and the machines used in the process need fossil fuels and pollute the earth. Here are some ideas you can do to help:\n•\tUse less paper. Paper is made from trees and when we use less, we don’t need to cut down as many trees.\n•\tUse less gasoline and plastic. Reuse your plastic water bottles and ride your bike or walk instead of drive. This helps conserve some of the resources we get from the rainforest.\n•\tEat less red meat. Big areas of rainforest have been destroyed to make room for cattle farms.
