It is spread through out all countries among women and men. The reason why Africa have such high HIV/AIDS rate is because they don't have any awareness and knowledge of safe sex and protection. People who are more educated tend to have higher awareness since they have better personal and surrounding hygiene. There also isn't enough testing done, and if tested, they either get kicked out of the town or exiled since they don't know how the disease was spread. In other cases, childrens get raped, or babies get infected from drinking their mother's milk. But more likely, it is caused by how people there does not have enough awareness or afford to prevent HIV/AIDS. Although North Africa is a part of Africa, but form the statistics above, you can see that only 1.4% has HIV/AIDS, since places such as the middle east are really strict of having sex and also other religious beliefs. While people in Africa are living less than $2 a day, being in an extreme poverty, workers in countries such as the UK earns a minimum wage of $10 per hour a day, which is a lot compared to people in the Sub-Saharan. Poverty is more likely to be about on how society decides to share their money, such as how other countries in Africa are more richer because of their resources like oils. Many of the countries in Africa owe money to the World Banks and spent on international organisations, leaving not much for the country to develop their local economy. We can clearly see that developed countries have a higher life expectancy because they have all the resources, their environment is good for farming and trading, they have money which can be put on businesses, while undeveloped countries will remain undeveloped since prices of things are getting higher and higher and they can't afford them. If they don't have enough money to buy medicine, food, water, then the life expectancy will decrease, and nothing will improve.
