Cells in the lymphatic system can grow abnormally and might spread past the lymphatic system. Hodgkin's compromises your body's immune system. Subtypes of Classical Hodgkin's (the most common type) include, Nodular Sclerosis, Mixed Cellularity, Lymphocyte-depleted, and Lymphocyte-rich classical Hodgkin's Lymphoma. People with Classical Hodgkins have large, abnormal cells (Reed Sternberg cells) in their lymph nodes. Lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin's lymphoma (rare type) has large, abnormal cells that can be referred to as popcorn cells because of their appearance.","content_type":"","title":"","shrink":null},{"type":"particle","particle_id":725566,"object_id":"cjgeist1363199152","particle_type":"image","picture":"http://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/infogram-particles-700/cjgeist1363199152.jpg"},{"type":"particle","particle_id":729939,"object_id":"cjgeist1363273994","particle_type":"bodytitle","picture":null,"text":"SYMPTOMS:","content_type":"","title":"","shrink":null},{"type":"particle","particle_id":697707,"object_id":"cjgeist1362688208","particle_type":"bodytext","picture":null,"text":"~Swelling of lymph nodes in neck, armpits, groin\n~Fatigue\n~Fever and chills\n~Night sweats\n~Unexplained weight lost\n~Coughing, trouble breathing or chest pain\n~Loss of Appetite\n~Itching","content_type":"","title":"","shrink":null},{"type":"particle","particle_id":720509,"object_id":"cjgeist1363274059","particle_type":"bodytitle","picture":null,"text":"GENETICS:","content_type":"","title":"","shrink":null},{"type":"particle","particle_id":619232,"object_id":"cjgeist1362689155","particle_type":"bodytext","picture":null,"text":"Hodgkin's mostly occurs when a B cell (infection fighting cell) has a mutation in its DNA. Three years later she began having a cough that would come and go. She saw the doctor and was given antibiotics. She got pregnant and the cough came back, but it was even more persistent. She also began developing a rash and was becoming easily fatigued. She went to the doctor and had blood work down. The results showed anemia. After Melody gave birth to her child, the fatigue and cough grew increasingly worse. The cough seemed to come and go on a regular basis. One day she felt a lump on her neck and went to the clinic to get it looked at. The doctor diagnosed her with Hodgkins Lymphoma Nodular Sclerosis. Her lungs would begin to fill with fluid. She would have to get chemotherapy for six months, be home on oxygen 24/7, get her lungs drained every 3 weeks. Then one of Melody's lungs collapsed and went in for a chest tube procedure. She finished her treatment then relapsed shortly after. Then she started a new treatment plan that consisted of chemo 6 days a week for three weeks for 2-3 months. Then she underwent a stem cell transplant and a bone marrow surgery. Melody is now in remission.","content_type":"","title":"","shrink":null}],"theme":{"createdAt":"2016-04-22T04:54:06.000Z","updatedAt":"2016-12-28T10:32:12.000Z","logoImages":[""],"charts":{"wordcloud":{"labels":{"fontWeight":"700","fontFamily":"Arial"}},"treemap":{"labels":{"value":{"fontFamily":"PT
